Interfaith
The Brahma Kumaris Malaysia has played an active part in Interfaith gatherings where leaders of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and the Bahai faith gather together to exchange common views. They also discuss ways to promote peace in the world and foster mutual understanding among the different faiths.
Values Education
Organizations , schools and institutions of higher learning often invite the Brahma Kumaris to conduct value education programmes in their premises. Programmes often stretch from two to three hours. Most of these programmes take place in Tamil primary schools and national secondary schools during Tamil Language Society meetings. We are also active trying to promote value education in national and Chinese schools as well.
UN International Day Of Peace
The Brahma Kumaris are committed to world peace. As a contribution to this and in support of the UN International Day of Peace, every year we organise a special public event in collaboration with the UNDP of Malaysia. The goal to commemorate this Day of Peace is to invite individuals to participate to promote peace and non-violence and prevent conflict.
World Peace Hour
We are what we think. When our thoughts are positive and elevated we radiate positive vibrations into the atmosphere. The World Peace Meditation Hour is about spreading love and peace into the atmosphere.
World Peace Meditation Hour began in 1978 and has spread to more than 90 countries. Every third Sunday of the month, more than half a million people sit in meditation for world peace from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm (local time of your country).
The World Peace Meditation Hour is conducted in local Brahma Kumaris centre or at public venues. To help guide your thoughts and create a meditative atmosphere, light music and sometimes commentaries are used. In Malaysia, this hour is often followed by talks based on various themes such as tolerance, love, power of realization.
You are invited to join us during this hour so that together we can spread love, peace and goodwill and make the world a better place to live in.

Exhibitions
Various exhibitions have been held throughout the country on a regular basis. Some of the topics under which exhibitions are held include Health, Addiction, Mental Health,, Meditation and the essence of Raja Yoga knowledge. These exhibitions are held during public programmes, festive occasions, conferences and seminars. We also encourage organizations to hold such exhibitions at their premises.
Prison Service
Prison service is also recognized as an integral part of our service to humanity. Prison service has been an on-going process in prisons especially the Kuantan prison and the results have been very encouraging. Visits to the prison take place twice a month and topics discussed include motivation, value education and realising the self. The inmates have benefited a great deal and many regret their past actions. Many are more disciplined and have more self-respect now. A few who have been released are now involved in small-scale businesses. They are determined to succeed in life and lead a normal, self-respecting life-style of dignity and human worth.
